Eight Companies from Çanakkale Rank Among Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises

Eight companies from Çanakkale have earned a place in the 2024 edition of the “Top 500 Industrial Enterprises of Türkiye” list, published annually by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). This achievement highlights the growing industrial strength and production capacity of the region, serving as a significant indicator of Çanakkale’s rising economic profile.

According to the rankings, İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım Sanayi A.Ş. secured the 21st position, maintaining its title as Çanakkale’s largest industrial enterprise. Enerjisa Enerji Üretim A.Ş. followed at 51st place, while İçdaş Elektrik Enerjisi Üretim ve Yatırım A.Ş. ranked 71st. Akçansa Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a major player in the cement industry, came in at 103rd.

Other notable entries from Çanakkale include Abalıoğlu Yem Sanayi A.Ş. (120th), Doğanlar Mobilya Grubu İmalat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (260th), Kaleseramik Çanakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi A.Ş. (269th), and the prominent food manufacturer Dardanel Önentaş Gıda Sanayi A.Ş. (319th). This strong presence in the ISO 500 list is seen as a reflection of the region’s focus on industrial development and innovation.
