The South Marmara Development Agency (GMKA) has announced three new Technical Assistance Programs for 2026 aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and supporting regional development in the TR22 Region (Balıkesir and Çanakkale). The programs focus on improving the investment climate, enhancing corporate capacity and productivity of enterprises, and fostering human and social development. The Investment Environment Improvement Technical Assistance Program seeks to identify new investment areas, enhance urban and rural development zones, unlock logistics opportunities, and promote digital transformation across the region. The Management Consultancy Technical Assistance Program will support enterprises in increasing efficiency in areas such as human resources, marketing, and business processes, while also facilitating green and digital transformation compliance. Meanwhile, the Human and Social Development Technical Assistance Program aims to strengthen the capacities of local stakeholders, promote the commercialization of regional products, enhance skills and knowledge development, and support entrepreneurship initiatives. Applications will be accepted through the Development Agencies Management System (KAYS) across five separate application periods.
